In search of these Marvel characters: Specifically: Marc Spector/Steven Grant, Bucky Barnes, Yelena Belova, Matt Murdock, Kate Bishop, Khonshu, Steve Rogers, Variant Loki. Generally: Magic users, gods, and street heroes! The magic system used in The Magicians works really well as a "cousin" to the magic seen in the MCU, particularly since both use choreography based on tutting, and being based in NYC, she's bound to run into one hero or another. Would also love anyone who agrees that most gods are assholes. (I'm also open to/interested in treating these as separate verses and having Julia travel to the MCU since other worlds are canon for her.)

My favorite things to write include emotional moments, hurt/comfort, bonding over shared experiences/trauma, stolen moments of happiness, and normal daily life for people who aren't used to it and thus struggle with and find it extremely weird. With MCU, he's easy to drop into anything and just say multiverse! I would love to try blending Kid Loki's story into MCU, ie him appearing after Loki's death and then having to deal with New Asgard and LOVE! A longer storyline I would like to play is an MCU character befriending Kid Loki when he's first reincarnated, and then not initially knowing that Ikol's replaced him. DRAMA

What you love most about Marvel: Unf. I have been a Marvel fan since I learned what comics were way back in the day. When they made the original X-Men films, I was just blown away. Once the MCU came into the picture, I was in absolute heaven. On a personal note, Marvel (whether it was X-Men, Avengers, etc) has built friendships for me that have lasted for years. It's also something me and my family all love equally. We have in-depth discussions and odd hours about the most random things regarding the movies, characters, and even the comics.
Spoiler Alert: I have not seen Thor: Love & Thunder and I haven't seen Ms Marvel yet. If spoilers accidentally happen, that's okay! I'm not a stickler when it comes to that. In fact, a lot of times, I spoil myself if the information is there.

Here is a very long history but it includes brief information on all the events that she was part of or was present for. It also gives an idea of people she's familiar with which can also be a bit daunting.
Character's age: 25 (Going by a very convoluted timeline, this is an assumed age. "Kate was 20 years old at the beginning of Young Avengers Vol 2 and turned 21 before the end of that series sometime during December." This was 2013/2014. I think it's neat that the Marvel players have a place to connect and see who writes who and who is interested in writing who...etc. I like to see how the characters are written by others as well! Sometimes it actually helps my writing to see them from a different perspective.
Open to and/or searching for ships? ...Okay, listen. I'm a ship fiend. Why not? The world is on fire and it's something fun to explore! So, I'm likely to give something a try and see how it works out. If my interpretation works well with yours, it's a possibility!
What specific things are you interested in writing? I enjoy writing anything and everything. I'm very rusty in writing action tags, but post-fights/battles/etc, I'm still okay with. Gen and friend bonding, relationship building, fluff and romance -- all the way to flat out smut, PWP, and whatever else.
What things are you not interested in? Anything relating to non-consensual themes or settings are a hard pass. As is anything even remotely close to child endangerment/pedophilia/etc. At the end of it all, just ask me and I'll let you know. The most important part of writing is that both parties are enjoying what they're doing. If you're not feeling something, let me know! No hard feelings ever.
Anything else? I am always open and understanding if a player doesn't want to write against my character for whatever reason. It's absolutely fine. I will always respect another person's request and decisions and try and keep a note. But, if I do happy to message you or tag you, give me a friendly poke?
