What you love most about Marvel: Unf. I have been a Marvel fan since I learned what comics were way back in the day. When they made the original X-Men films, I was just blown away. Once the MCU came into the picture, I was in absolute heaven. On a personal note, Marvel (whether it was X-Men, Avengers, etc) has built friendships for me that have lasted for years. It's also something me and my family all love equally. We have in-depth discussions and odd hours about the most random things regarding the movies, characters, and even the comics.
Spoiler Alert: I have not seen Thor: Love & Thunder and I haven't seen Ms Marvel yet. If spoilers accidentally happen, that's okay! I'm not a stickler when it comes to that. In fact, a lot of times, I spoil myself if the information is there.

Character: Kate Bishop
Universe: Marvel-616
Canon points: ...Her comic canon point list is pretty long. Not as long as the OG comic folks, but still pretty long. It includes the first Young Avenger run (2005) - Hawkeye: Kate Bishop (2022). Here is a very long history but it includes brief information on all the events that she was part of or was present for. It also gives an idea of people she's familiar with which can also be a bit daunting.
Character's age: 25 (Going by a very convoluted timeline, this is an assumed age. "Kate was 20 years old at the beginning of Young Avengers Vol 2 and turned 21 before the end of that series sometime during December." This was 2013/2014. She could, technically, be 30, but *gestures in timeline and dimensional confusion*
Permissions/Preferences: This is my generic permissions list. It's long. I have a list problem, I know. This is Kate's information.
Who the heck are they? Pretty much an Avenger who is doing the super hero gig but also trying to figure herself out...still. The baggage. It's a lot.

Canon Points: For sanity sake, I prefer to play her post-WandaVision (with just a bit of dabbling with the Darkhold). I'm okay giving her a bit of her darker side, though!

Who the heck are they? Grumpy wizard who is actually nice when he wants to be and would have given his life for a dimension-traveling kid and is very happy. (spoilers: not yet but he's getting there!)

Who the heck are they? One of the Warriors Three. Dashing gentleman. Loyal friend. Lover of ladies.
I don't actively have them here, but I've also played: Natasha Romanoff, Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Pepper Potts, and Gamora.
One day, I really need to let go of 616 Kate and try my hand at MCU Kate because I thoroughly enjoyed the Hawkeye series. Also, Yelena because she is a gem. Oh, and Scott Lang. He needs more representation but ughhhh the pressure to get it right!

Where they can be found? Right now, mostly lurking around Bakerstreet, though I'm working on Kate for Penance.
Looking for games? Memes/psls? Museboxes? I'm not actively looking for games but if I come across one that sounds interesting, I always take a peek! I really enjoy the Meme-verse. She says as she went hard on a lot of memes and then life happened and now there are all the memes. I'd probably down for a casual PSL or just random scenes in Meme-verse or Museboxes!
Searching for specific Marvels? Nothing specific, no! I think it's neat that the Marvel players have a place to connect and see who writes who and who is interested in writing who...etc. I like to see how the characters are written by others as well! Sometimes it actually helps my writing to see them from a different perspective.
Open to and/or searching for ships? ...Okay, listen. I'm a ship fiend. Why not? The world is on fire and it's something fun to explore! So, I'm likely to give something a try and see how it works out. If my interpretation works well with yours, it's a possibility!
What specific things are you interested in writing? I enjoy writing anything and everything. I'm very rusty in writing action tags, but post-fights/battles/etc, I'm still okay with. Gen and friend bonding, relationship building, fluff and romance -- all the way to flat out smut, PWP, and whatever else.
What things are you not interested in? Anything relating to non-consensual themes or settings are a hard pass. As is anything even remotely close to child endangerment/pedophilia/etc. At the end of it all, just ask me and I'll let you know. The most important part of writing is that both parties are enjoying what they're doing. If you're not feeling something, let me know! No hard feelings ever.
Anything else? I am always open and understanding if a player doesn't want to write against my character for whatever reason. It's absolutely fine. I will always respect another person's request and decisions and try and keep a note. But, if I do happy to message you or tag you, give me a friendly poke?
Also, I know that my ships are not necessarily your ships and, like the rest, that's okay. I will never try and push a ship on someone. I might ask if there is nothing specified in a character journal/profile, but never expect anything from anyone.
