In search of these characters/canons: Way back when, Mantis had some fledging CR with Jim Kirk (specifically AOS) and I loved it. I always though those two could get along famously. I would love some Trek in my MCU.

Honestly, I'd love pretty much any other space canon in my MCU lmao.

Also would love to at Prompto Argentum from FFXV. I think they could find some common ground and really hit it off.

I'm open to any other ideas, too!

If you wish to play around with some MCU-Trek crossover I would be happy to! I agree they would get along great! I play mostly the AOS folks these days so I can offer up mr jimothy kirk as well as spock if you want a fellow telepath :>

So funny story: I'm the McCoy telling Jim that he's a walking disaster in that texting meme.

I would LOVE to! Mantis is just so unsure of herself (when I play her from) that having someone around as confident as Jim is somehow both encouraging and confusing. And there are moments when she can be so ruthless (and somehow innocently so lmao) that it would probably throw Jim for a loop, too.

Also, if you want more McCoy, I'm down for that, too. Any time, any where. :D

Mantis would be a great friend, even if she can deal out some sick burns her intentions are usually fairly innocent haha. And he wouldn't believe Drax called her ugly what the hell man! thats not how you raise someone's confidence! I really think they will get along great!!

I will totally say hi if i happen to see either of them in memes anywhere, but also if spot something interesting that could be fun feel free to just link it to me or let me know!! as evidenced by this reply i tend do disappear for a couple days when work week is busy but i do peruse good old bakerstreet once or twice a week ;)

A couple of ideas;

MCU/Who verse is meshed and The Doctor happens upon Mantis on some planet separated from the Guardians and long term, it's tracking them down.

We wiggle Ten into the new Guardians movie, a.k.a. make stuff up and Mantis finds him somewhere unconscious.

They are both part of a universe zoo that has rare creatures on display and they help each other get out and the rest of the zoo, of course!

Any ideas on your end?

Awesome! :D To be honest, I'm more into them both being captives in a universe zoo. Also, what level of emotion would you like Ten?

I have a medium timeline point, when The Doctor will still try to be friends or a hard timeline point when he's just done making friends.

And where shall we do the threading?

Honestly, I'm good with whatever you have more fun/feel more comfortable playing him re: emotion level. Mantis wouldn't be deterred by him being done making friends; she'll still be her awkward weird self in the face of it.
