What you love most about Marvel: The villains! Or specifically the little slice of life moments with them, their friendships and partnerships and all the little bits of humanity and silliness that occur in between committing terrorist acts. Can you tell I'm a fan of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants? Anyway Marvel's been my forever fandom for about as long as I can remember, and even though I'll take years long breaks from it, I always end up coming back.
Spoiler Alert: lmao I'm up to date on nothing, but I don't mind spoilers for the comics, movies, tv shows, anything. Actually, I welcome spoilers. Catching myself up on all that I've missed in Marvel has been an absolute beast.

Character: Fabian Cortez, Pyro, Shinobi Shaw, Unus the Untouchable (journals all being made or cleaned up after collecting dust for many years, so there's nothing really to link yet)
Universe: Marvel 616 but always happy to AU into any Marvel or non-Marvel verse.
Canon points: Krakoa Era or post-Krakoa.
Character's age: Variable, but I'd say they're all probably in their 30s.
Permissions/Preferences: I'll toss them on this journal once it's set up, but generally I'm super flexible and open to pretty much anything as long as there's communication.
Who the heck are they? A bunch of c-list villains who died like 20+ years ago. But then Krakoa brought them back! To get more specific:

  • Cortez: A deeply insecure horrible rich boy who was bored with having everything he could possibly want, and so he decided to become a terrorist and murderer. He's the worst, nobody likes him, and he's basically Magneto's Starscream. But he had a sliver of character growth in Krakoa, and he seems to be attempting to be a good guy as of his most recent appearances, and I'd like to explore more before Age of Revelation inevitably undoes all of his character development and he goes back to being a shrieking mustache twirling villain.
  • Pyro: A successful journalist and romance novelist turned mutant terrorist because ???? reasons ???? Pyro's a gregarious showboat who gets along with (or annoys) most people and seemed to really get into the pirate life during Krakoa. These days Pyro's continuing to try the hero gig out and he's pretty okay at it!
  • Shinobi Shaw: Sebastian Shaw's failson, who's generally content to live a hedonistic party boy lifestyle and alternates between trying to kill his dad and trying to follow in his footsteps. He has a lot of daddy issues. Anyway I'm still catching up on what he's been doing these days, but it looks like he's hanging out with Kwannon and that's pretty cool!
  • Unus the Untouchable: The Blob's best friend, and seriously, the issue where he dies in Blob's arms is genuinely heartbreaking!! Anyway he's basically a big meat head who keeps getting killed by his own powers. I'm not sure what he's up to these days. Did he even show up beyond like one or two panels in Krakoa? Is he even still alive post-Krakoa?

    Where they can be found? I can toss them around memes on request, but generally I suck at diving right in without touching base with the other player, so there aren't any top levels to speak of. Cortez does have a top level on a TDM for [community profile] duplicitynet and that's about it.
    Looking for games? Memes/psls? Museboxes? Any of the above! I took a long break from RP, so I'm not sure where to go for Marvel museboxes, or which games have a comics cast and are interested in lame minor villains, etc! I'd really love to touch base and connect with Marvel folks just to dip my toes in the water again.
    Searching for specific Marvels? Magneto, Exodus, Nightcrawler, Mystique, Avalanche, Blob, Rogue, Sebastian Shaw, Legion, Toad, any Acolytes, Marauders, Hellfire Club, Brotherhood, Legionnaires... Basically anyone? I'm open to comics, MCU, Foxverse, cartoons, any versions tbh
    Open to and/or searching for ships? Open to ships! I will always write Pyro/Avalanche. Always. But otherwise I don't have any specific ships in mind for any of them, and am happy to just see where chemistry takes characters.
    What specific things are you interested in writing? Pyro reconnecting with his Brotherhood pals, Shinobi being a messy bitch, Cortez having a bad time in general (it's fun and easy and he usually deserves it), Unus and Blob hanging out in Krakoa please why didn't we ever get this
    What things are you not interested in? eh can't think of anything tbh
