Despite a year of absolutely adoring one Mobius M. Mobius, I've never had a thread with one. But now with the Multiverse really getting messed up... I don't know if you'd be interested, but I have a SHIELD agent who has time-traveled twice (with some fuck-ups and time loops involved) and a mutant who helped completely rewrite a timeline.

MANNNNNN I didn't get the chance to finally catch up on the last two seasons of AoS before the move to D+...I should sit down with it front to back sometime. Like...apart from darkhold stuff (which has at least three different origins/locations they were last seen at/fates), there's really nothing to suggest it's not canon to the greater MCU!!!

I know shockingly little about the xmcu! Outside of uhhhhh deadpool. which in no way dissuades me!! I'm all about fucky timeline shit. like You're Not Supposed To Do That (unless the space lizard overlords say it was supposed to happen, then it's okay)

Oh man, the last two seasons of AoS are WILD. Season 6 was their "well, we didn't expect to be renewed, so time to go completely nuts!" with wacky space adventures, and season 7 was the perfect intentional ending with so many truly amazing callbacks to earlier seasons. It's honestly one of the best series finales I've ever seen. And as for the Darkhold... well, it's not the first time Marvel has retconned itself, and who's to say the book doesn't change appearance whenever it wants? (It's a cursed magic book and Marvel doesn't exactly share details with us.)

But season 7 is also the time travel season, with stops in 1931, 1955, 1973, and 1983. They screw things up (obviously) and make a branch timeline (whoops). But it's to save the world, so it's fine, right?

The XMCU is... a mess. It shamelessly contradicts its own continuity all the damn time, but it helped make comicbook movies what they are, so I love it. But basically, Future Mutants worked with Past Mutants to stop a really bad apocalyptic future and erased 50 years of timeline. They made it better!! But the space lizard overlords may not see it that way.
