What you love most about Marvel: bruh it's just a good entertaining time. but I'm super enjoying how it's broad enough that each new movie and show can dip into all kinds of different genres.
Spoiler Alert: I do plan on watching moon knight, it's just one of those cases of getting times with people lined up, so I would prefer no spoilers just yet. everything else is gravy (in that either I've seen it or don't mind spoilers). and comics are all good to spoil to your hearts content.

Character: Mobius M. Mobius
Universe: MCU
Canon points: anytime. everytime, in fact!
Character's age: [laughs in possibly pseudo-immortal time traveler]
Permissions/Preferences: here
Who the heck are they? an analyst for the Time Variance Authority, a group that are basically time agents a la doctor who or star trek. SOME fucker decided he didn't like all the nastier versions of himself and consolidated a lot of extremely similar timelines into the Sacred Timeline, aka our main canon timeline, and mobius is one of innumerable many tasked with making sure branches of the timeline that break off don't get too out of control and break the multiverse wide open.
[motions to the state of the mcu atm]
guess how well that's going recently

Where they can be found? I'm always up for PSLs and occasionally pop into memes that sway me. game-wise a dragon age AU version is running around Fade Rift as a former templar who thinks he's been touched by the maker, so like. that's going great.
Looking for games? Memes/psls? Museboxes? not actively, but feel free to shoot me a pm on the journal if you've got ideas!
Searching for specific Marvels? bruh does anybody play ravonna thank you, I'm always willing to give any of the loki cast a go including lokis who do not play by variant/show canon. but super duper open to fucking eeeeveryone to have intertemporal fun
Open to and/or searching for ships? not actively searching but always open!
What specific things are you interested in writing? I'm easy like sunday morning tbqh, if you suggest it chances are good I can roll with it or a variation thereof
I do like dealing with the existential crisis that the show introduces but doesn't let us see how mobius mentally works through or thinks about, and until we get some kind of canon backstory, I enjoy making shit up about his possible history within the TVA itself and outside of it.
knowing that they are generally unpopular choices, I will say that I am open to big angst, non- and dubcon, blood and gore and nasty stuff like that, so long as such things make sense for the situations and characters, and have an AU journal with a v unfortunate judge variant who is Not A Nice Person. you are always free to ask about [personal profile] lowkeyobsession if interested.
What things are you not interested in? pure unadulterated crack. like I am down for shit like genderbends, bodyswaps, stuff like that so long as there's like...some vague reason behind it and it's not just for the lol randoms. slice of life generally speaking but I can roll with it if it's part of a larger story.
Anything else?

if you had told me a year ago that not only would I end up caring about the character of loki, but that I would also end up rping a character played by owen wilson, I would've laughed you into an early grave, so, this sure wasn't on my bingo card

Despite a year of absolutely adoring one Mobius M. Mobius, I've never had a thread with one. But now with the Multiverse really getting messed up... I don't know if you'd be interested, but I have a SHIELD agent who has time-traveled twice (with some fuck-ups and time loops involved) and a mutant who helped completely rewrite a timeline.

MANNNNNN I didn't get the chance to finally catch up on the last two seasons of AoS before the move to D+...I should sit down with it front to back sometime. Like...apart from darkhold stuff (which has at least three different origins/locations they were last seen at/fates), there's really nothing to suggest it's not canon to the greater MCU!!!

I know shockingly little about the xmcu! Outside of uhhhhh deadpool. which in no way dissuades me!! I'm all about fucky timeline shit. like You're Not Supposed To Do That (unless the space lizard overlords say it was supposed to happen, then it's okay)

Oh man, the last two seasons of AoS are WILD. Season 6 was their "well, we didn't expect to be renewed, so time to go completely nuts!" with wacky space adventures, and season 7 was the perfect intentional ending with so many truly amazing callbacks to earlier seasons. It's honestly one of the best series finales I've ever seen. And as for the Darkhold... well, it's not the first time Marvel has retconned itself, and who's to say the book doesn't change appearance whenever it wants? (It's a cursed magic book and Marvel doesn't exactly share details with us.)

But season 7 is also the time travel season, with stops in 1931, 1955, 1973, and 1983. They screw things up (obviously) and make a branch timeline (whoops). But it's to save the world, so it's fine, right?

The XMCU is... a mess. It shamelessly contradicts its own continuity all the damn time, but it helped make comicbook movies what they are, so I love it. But basically, Future Mutants worked with Past Mutants to stop a really bad apocalyptic future and erased 50 years of timeline. They made it better!! But the space lizard overlords may not see it that way.
