As soon as we got to know more about his dad, I was overwhelmed with emotions because of how like Cal he is. A dad just wanting his family back and going about it in all the wrong ways... sob And then they both lost those dads.

Honestly, I hadn't even put together just how alike their fathers (and the end result) are but omg you are absolutely right and this knowledge is just killing me now. And I need this in my life, holy shit though.

I can toss together something for these two so we can roll around in emotions together. Any preferences on setup? Can always default to "SHIELD noticed you've been involved in some weird shit, care to explain?"

Ooh yes wonderful! And I have zero preference! 'SHIELD noticed. Explain yourself.' sounds pretty perfect to me. It's a nice open setting to work with :D
