Canon points: that's uhh.. a long story for the comics, so we'll say post the conclusion of his movie.
Character's age: he's like 15/16 in the movie, probably late teens/early twenties in comics.
Permissions/Preferences: i don't have one set up for him, but like.. age-appropriate shipping if it comes to that. otherwise, go ham.
Who the heck are they? james is steve and natasha's supersoldier son from a canon AU in which ultron won and killed like. everyone. he was raised along with other avengers' kids under the arctic by tony stark, with help from the vision. he's a good kid that spent a long time being scared to live up to his potential, but now he leads his avengers team.

Searching for specific canonmates? not particularly! i've been blessed with at least seeing his sister around now and then, although i'm always happy to see any of his other sibs, or his parents, etc.
Open to and/or searching for ships? yeah, i'm down! i'm not searching for them, but if they happen, phenomenal.
What specific things are you interested in writing? obvs finding other comics folks is sort of difficult, but i also love the MCU, so i'm happy to AU him into it! i usually use the he-was-an-experiment trope to explain him in that case. found family is my jam, and i'm actually dying to push he and MCU!peter together.
What things are you not interested in? i can't really think of anything right now, but.. i guess.. tba??
