MARVEL MULTIVERSE ROLL CALL 1.0

Welcome to The Crazy Canoe. A SHIELD watering hole, it's the place
to raise a glass with new friends and plan those daring adventures.
If you play from a Marvel property, you are welcome here!

Please keep discussions civil. This is to find people who enjoy playing
in the same type of sandbox as you, not to argue with each other over
whose opinion is 'valid'. We're all here to have a good time so please,
let's not ruin it for each other.

Do the thing.
Make friends.
Everybody Space Jam.

NEW POST IS OVER HERE

I see that you have Loki on your searching-for list, and I am curious what you have in mind. I've been curious to explore the Frost Giant-Winter Soldier dynamic, myself, but I'm open to a lot of ideas.

Maybe something connecting the Endgame-Loki who escaped with the Tesseract, maybe he's unable to port out from Earth for some reason, but he's looking to build up some power? I'm open to others, but that's one off the top of my head.

I can see that happening. He was pretty physically trashed at that point in 2012 and might be too weak to get very far with the Tesseract. In 2012, Bucky would still be under HYDRA's thumb, and they would also have the sceptre with the Mind Stone, so perhaps he could come looking for that, and use it to snag the Winter Soldier out of sheer desperation because he's not in good shape to actually face off with him. He would probably not be sure what to do with him at that point, because his primary motivation would be dodging Thanos, so anything could happen from there.

Yeah, that would make sense! Maybe somehow the Tesseract just headed for the scepter on its own since Loki was in too bad a physical shape to direct it like he might normally have.

We can give it a shot on a meme thread, if you're interested.

I would love to give it a shot, yes! Sorry, I'm working in health care and while I'm not on the front lines, things are kind of busy, hence the lag. Also because it's 2020 and just everything is nuts everywhere without exception. Anyway!

I'm looking for a gen meme because I'm assuming from your list that's your preference with Loki, and even if not that seems a good place to start. The Insomnia meme could work, or the Covered in Blood, or I could just toss up a post in my musebox and link you. I'm happy to start, just let me know where you want me to write it up, or link me if you have something else in mind?

Completely understandable! 2020 has just been terrible all around.

I'm good with gen or ship/smut; up to you! Thank you, I'd appreciate a starter link! The Covered in Blood one sounds interesting. Another option could also be in during WW2 on Earth, and pre-Thor, so maybe Loki's just taking one of many trips to Earth if you want an additional starter point.

Musebox sounds good to me.

Please forgive both the length of time it took me to get this up, and also the length of the post itself. I can absolutely edit anything you'd like me to, but I was trying to leave it open for Bucky to react to Loki showing up suddenly before any mind control via the staff occurs. I hope this works!
