In search of these Marvel characters: Specifically: Marc Spector/Steven Grant, Bucky Barnes, Yelena Belova, Matt Murdock, Kate Bishop, Khonshu, Steve Rogers, Variant Loki. Generally: Magic users, gods, and street heroes! The magic system used in The Magicians works really well as a "cousin" to the magic seen in the MCU, particularly since both use choreography based on tutting, and being based in NYC, she's bound to run into one hero or another. Would also love anyone who agrees that most gods are assholes. (I'm also open to/interested in treating these as separate verses and having Julia travel to the MCU since other worlds are canon for her.)

What specific things are you interested in writing? My favorite things to write include emotional moments, hurt/comfort, bonding over shared experiences/trauma, stolen moments of happiness, and normal daily life for people who aren't used to it and thus struggle with it and find it extremely weird. I'd love to brainstorm ideas for any of the above!

She loves to embrace a person's full potential to help them be the best they can be though likely with hijinks involved. I play Alexis as running her own PR firm post show and working with Interflix, but still taking on other clients to be a true Boss Babe.

What specific things are you interested in writing? I love a good sunshine/grumpy trope. Alexis is bubbly and absurd and fun, so I'd love to bounce her against serious character that could potentially soften and have some fun too. I'd love to write partners-in-crime dynamics where Alexis and whoever get themselves into all kinds of ridiculous and adventure and trouble. One of my favorite ideas is Alexis working as any of the above's PR manager. I love fluff and soft moments, but I also love writing vulnerability too whether it's Alexis finally being honest and open about her Big Feelings or her helping someone do the same. Or for a real out there idea, Alexis accidentally getting some kind of super power and being taught to control it because she's out of control and some what irresponsible with them.
What things are you not interested in? There's not much I'm not interested in exploring with Alexis. I think hard limits would be anything too dark with her, considering the character, but I'm open to discussing.

Who the heck are they? Once-human turned alien queen possible eventual queen of the universe. A functionally-immortal celestial goddess who has been playing the long game to preserve humanity and stop the entire cosmos from being destroyed. Can exert a certain amount of influence on Reality. Has big magical mystical ethereal energy but also the intelligence to invent tech like dark matter scanners, and facilitate plans that take centuries to unfold.

In search of these Marvel characters: Any for the most part! I'm extremely flexible and generally game to write with anyone that wants to write with me/my characters.
Open to and/or searching for ships? Open to shipping if things head that way but not specifically looking for it. That said, Mara is pansexual and leans f/f.
What specific things are you interested in writing? Overall I've just wanted to try playing her off Marvels because the idea of a character who has devoted themselves to saving humanity/Earth mixing with superheroes seems like fun and a natural fit. And her world has an equivalent in Guardians so standard superhero nonsense is just another day ending in 'y' and not necessarily eventful.

Also Destiny meshes a lot of assorted mythologies and Mara's people/culture specifically use a lot of Greek/Norse/Egyptian naming and concepts, so personally I enjoy the idea of encounters that may involve "oh that actually happened/they actually exist in this universe" situations.

Multiple timelines/realms/universes are all a thing in her world, so having Mara visit a different Earth and at a time that would be in the distant past for her could have some fun possibilities. It would be entirely like her to hop over to another Earth to try and prevent an apocalyptic event (could be something local or could be a threat from her world), or the slightly-less benevolent option of possibly looking for a unique individual to assist in stopping the Big Bad currently threatening her world.

Or having someone venture to her world — Congrats, welcome to post-apocalyptic Earth where what remains of humanity is centered in the Last City. Don't mind that the moon is haunted and crawling with an alien infestation. Or that the solar system is under attack and has been for a while.
What things are you not interested in? Immediately jumping into smut (unless I know you/we've written together before). Otherwise nothing off the top of my head but if I'm not jiving with something I'll let you know.
Anything else? Canon-blindness with regards to Destiny is expected (not just because it's not exactly a common canon in DWRP, it's not an easy canon to get into) and I'm more than happy to IC or OOC explain stuff as needed. But despite all the pain in her life, she's still compassionate, loyal, and ready and willing to sacrifice herself to protect others.

In search of these characters/canons:

» Bruce Wayne, especially the Robert Pattinson and Ben Affleck versions. For Battinson, I absolutely loved the vibe of the new movie and Bruce getting back to his crime-fighting detective roots, so I'd like to drop Daisy into his verse and have her live a 'powerless' vigilante life while searching for a way back home. And for Batfleck, she could also be dropped into the universe and subsequently enlisted in the fight to protect his world, or canons could be mashed and there could be some teamups between SHIELD and the Justice League. (Open to other Bruces too, though!)

» The Walking Dead characters, non-villains only. As mentioned below, apocalyptic things are some of my favorites, and it would be so easy to combine the worlds and have most of the heroes wiped out while failing to save humanity. Daisy already carries a lot of guilt for letting people down at other times, so why not go for the real heavy hitter? (To make Daisy less powerful in this setting, she'd be without her protective suit, so the use of her powers would have to be strictly limited else she suffer constant physical injury.)

» Star Trek characters, especially from Strange New Worlds or TOS/AOS eras. With Trek being such an easy canon for crossovers, it would be fun to play with all the multiverse possibilities. Daisy would relate to the family vibe of the crews and feel perfectly at home on a spaceship (she's lived in space before), or she would be ready and willing to help someone get back to their ship if thrown into more dire circumstances. Basically, I really love these two canons and just want to do Things.

What you love most about Marvel: All the different worlds and stories. Can flip between street level grit to cosmic disasters and everything in between.
Spoiler Alert: For MCU: I've watched everything but Eternals, which I don't have interest in watching at the moment. Comics: I'm decently well read on the characters I play, including some of their group books etc, but I haven't read a lot of pre 2000 comics outside of Buesik's Avengers run (right at the end of the 90s there) and Claremont's X-men run where he brought in Binary. What you love most about Marvel: I love the vastness of Marvel, and all of the different genres within - science fiction, fantasy, romance, comedy, etc. I love the combination of magic and science, and the characters! I'd love for him to meet more people and make new friends, and if anyone has like, an AU for an MCU!Harry Osborn I would love to play off of you! For Wanda, I'm interested in exploring what comes next for her after Multiverse of Madness, and for Pietro, I'm interested in playing around with different scenarios if he had lived. And found family dynamics are the best and I'd love that potential for all of mine! Honestly, though, I'm down for anything and everything with all of mine.
